My advice would be to go with a black NATO strap. I’ve had one on my Casio CA53W-1 for years since the original strap broke. It’s already lasted three times as long as the original did, plus it is a lot more comfortable.

Native English speaker here. Aside from catching crap for regional accent differences, I didn’t have any noticeable, repeating problems until COVID.
