That’s really cool! How did they transport the balloon & basket after it was deflated? Did they fold the balloon into the basket and load it onto a trailer or something? Did they have extra vehicles to bring the other passengers back? I know almost nothing about hot air balloons

We just split responsibilities by our ability and our schedule, and communicate to get it done. Somedays I have more stamina and headspace to do certain things and vice versa… sometimes we give up until tomorrow if it isn’t urgent. It’ll get done one way or another, and then we can goof off a bit together.

Yeah, I have 1Gb fiber but all of my equipment is old and none of it can even utilize the entire Gb. I only keep it because I got a deal on it when they first ran fiber, had issues with someone severing the fiber to my house (like 12 times when “gardening”), and now I’m grandfathered-in to a cheaper price… so I keep it for whenever I do upgrade something. Which should be soon, if I ever get back to setting up my home server

My hardest (self-imposed) projects that I’ve worked on, have always led to my easier projects becoming even easier. I like to build upon the things I learn, it’s half the fun
