They’ve got a point though: we should no longer be buying U.S. goods for that would

• reward this openly hostile behaviour.
• play into Donnie’s fantasy that tariffs will do anything to the U.S. trade deficit on goods.
• continue, if not deepen trade and technological dependency on a country that proved to be as fickle and unreliable as its diapered disaster of a president.
