I thought it was a guy in a dalmatian suit that awakened the Dean to his fetish, or when he caught Shirley’s lingerie.

Shanespeare has a new video about him and his widow.
I used to call my friends “son” back in college.
I find the word Champ to be wonderfully patronizing.
“What’s got you down, Champ?”
Watermelon. Earthmelon. Firemelon. Airmelon.
Long ago, the four elemelons lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Watermelon attacked. Only the
AvatarMelon Lord, master of all four elemelons, could stop them, but when the world needed it most, it vanished.FTFY
There used to be a guy on the corner who would hold a sign up about Falun Gong and repeat “Happy, happy, happy.”

I found another translation from R.J. Hollingdale.
We often contradict an opinion for no other reason than that we do not like the tone in which it expressed.
Edit: I found it! It’s Kaufmann’s Portable Nietzsche Page 58 Aphorism 303.
Additional edit: It’s not word for word.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is there any way I can study Marxist theory in a way that wouldn't seem too boring or dry?
4·29 days agoI’ve always understood Marx as a historian who used the perspective of resources as the lens to view history. I don’t think he was going out of his way to figure out how to get the working class to rise up.
I’ve been always a bit partial towards Herbert Marcuse, someone who I regard as part of the Marxist thought. I think his book One-Dimensional Man was a interesting read as an explanation to our modern technologically advanced society.

Always Dean-lightful to see a fellow Human Being.
