Sometimes I wish I had that dedication.

I want to like State of Decay, and I do for the most part.
But imo it just feels like “Not-Project Zomboid” if that makes sense. Like it’s almost on par with PZ, but not really. So whenever I play it, I just wanna play Zomboid instead.

It’s like training Batman and then constantly trying to piss him off by attacking his city and family.

I blame social media and short form content platforms (YouTube, Instagram and tiktok). They’re the ones who implemented TOS and bots/moderators to remove any comments that people don’t like seeing, and bent over backwards to cater to companies and advertisers who are too prudish to have bad words tied to their products and services.

I remember when Oblivion came out and everyone found all the glitches and exploits, like the vampirism quest not finishing properly with Count Skingrad so you could just ask him to pay you over and over.
I also remember thinking it was a big deal anytime a developer sent out a patch for their game(s) around that same time. Like, damn you already made the game and now you’re doing more stuff to it?
Anyway I guess my point is people are impatient as fuck nowadays thanks to the internet.
Ngl I loved my first V. She had pink hair and lipstick, and I loved rocking those swishy track jackets and fedoras.
Once I found a bright pink Arch, that was it. I tried to carry that thing with me through the entire game.
That sounds like almost an exact description of the first Mario movie.
