Nah. I like snakes.

There are certain segments of the population that deserve very poisonous spiders dropped on their heads.
Check that the audio format of whatever you’re watching matches the output of your listening device. If you watch a movie using 5.1, but your TV is stereo, then yes all of the loud shit is going to be very loud and crowd out the dialog. This might not be the silver bullet for everyone, but it costs you nothing to check your settings.
I would be shocked (shocked, I say) if Hollywood wasn’t mostly a front for money laundering rings.

That’s not a win. It’s more like a shell game. We still lose.

Throwing in my two cents:
I would imagine package managers are because of C and C++ not having package managers. I remember 20+ years ago before package managers were a thing, before the Debians, Ubuntus, and Arch (btw)s (before autoconf and configure), when we would download software and have to compile it ourselves, and the lack of reliable means of knowing what dependencies were needed to compile said software. Repeat this ad nauseam for each dependency that itself had dependencies.
It was Hell.
~I for one am grateful for my dependency-resolving overlords. 🙇♂️~
Wait… this isn’t satire?
~I really can’t tell these days.~
You’re absolutely right! Let’s see if we can find better ways to determine if something is AI-generated:

You might disagree, but that doesn’t mean you’re right. A signature does not require cursive. It doesn’t even have to be legible. It’s a mark that you make signifying that you agree to whatever it is you’re signing.

~Vasoline would be more appropriate here.~
Any attention is better than no attention, right?

No, the tip is the point. It’s usually pointed at whatever you’re boring a hole into.

I have a water bottle that I put all of my spare change. 🤷♂️
But seriously, most banks (that I’m aware of) let you open a savings account for as little as $5 (minimum balance) with no extra fees. If you never withdrawal from it and drop a few spare bucks here and there, you may find yourself with “savings” too.

Whatever debt you pay off, continue “making payments” in the same amounts (to your savings account).
Yeah, but even when shit’s at its lowest, at least Lonliness got your back.
Seriously? I literally just started doing this myself. 😞

Do you hear yourself right now? That is the oldest, most snake-oil bullshit anybody could ever come up with. And here you are doubling down on it and acting like your so-called insider information makes you somehow wise and all-knowing.
Seriously, I want you to stand in front of the mirror and say what you said to yourself.
Go. Try it. Bet that won’t cost anybody their job.

I’ve never understood the mentality of offloading reading comprehension to others. Why do I bother to write clear error messages at all?
You’re not writing error messages for your users. You’re writing them for you. Most users, especially the higher up the chain you go, are not computer savvy in the least. In fact, they know maybe a handful of apps and only specific to what they need to use it for. They are absolutely terrified of anything that is not what they know, because they know that could mean their job if the problem is big enough (data loss, hacking, etc).
Hollywood has done a fantastic job of drilling that into the consumer. Just like every Hollywood movie always has that one squeaky computer nerd who can fix anything just by looking at the screen. Those nerds also terrify people because it reflects on how little those people know, and that’s always scary.
Long story short, write your logging for you; not them. If anything it makes you look like the hero every time. And Hollywood also taught us to adore our heroes.
Use stereo for the movie. Some apps, like Netflix (iirc) has a setting for that.
