Yeah, but those are moving from side to side. To my recollection, you never see a portal in a wall that’s moving in a direction that’s perpendicular to the plane it’s in.

Games@lemmy.world•Former Valve writer says PlayStation killing physical discs is no conspiracy: "You, the consumer, have made your choice, and the choice is for digital"English
4·16 days agoYeah, even physical pc games often just have a download key inside and no disk, and computers haven’t had disk drives for a while.
(I know you can get external ones, but even cases nowadays don’t account for the ability to have them as an internal component)
I did manage to snag a copy of House Flipper 2 (it just had a Steam key, no disk) for 6€ a few months ago when the lowest historical price at the time (according to IsThereAnyDeal) was in the 20s or 30s, so I’m very much in the camp of physical releases in any platform. There is much more choice for consumers, game preservation arguments notwithstanding.
I don’t understand, why did you post a picture of a pride flag?

6·1 month agoIn my country (also Western Europe), we only get them if a film passes the three hour mark. We saw the extended versions of the LOTR trilogy a few months back and they were a lifesaver for a quick bathroom break!
The bottom of the gym ad says “Ottawa sign rentals”, so I’d say it checks out

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it a pattern that most of Zendaya's haters are right-wing or is it just a coincidence?
1·1 year agoShe has also been in a number of high-profile productions way before Shrek 5, such as HBO’s Euphoria, the Dune films, and MCU’s Spider-Man films.

I understand that concern, but I’d say that it’s one of those shows that picks up as time goes on, as there is a main plot line that is slowly established before really driving the plot. The last two seasons have some stellar episodes, with the show losing some of its procedural nature.
It is still science fiction, so of course that whenever a character hacks something it always looks dumb.
