The Gripen flies, the F35 is parked in a maintenance shack. Or parked forever if the US decides they don’t like you anymore and to turn off all the software defined shit.
My country (Germany) planning to buy F35 instead of Gripens boggles my mind, it’s just dumb in the current political climate.
We can see that Ukraine fucking F16s make a huge difference - all the buzzwords buy you nothing, what you need is airplanes that actually are in the air.
German law is a lot more complicated and protective than what is shown here. There’s several stages at 14, 16 and 18 that have different protections - and in some of them the age of the other partner plays a role, too.
The law is trying to prevent kids from being abused when under 16 or 18, without creating legal traps for teenagers having their first relationships.

If you fully submerge an object, you displace its VOLUME of water. It will always be the same amount (imagine a bowling ball and a soccer ball). You might need to push it.
When you relate that to its weight, you get the density.
Imagine you have two 1kg lumps of steel. Out of one you make a bowl with thin walls the out of the other a metal ball. Afterwards they still have (about) the same weight, volume and density - as it’s still steel.

But when you put in the bowl sideways without splashing it will displace about the same amount of water than the ball. And it will still weigh 1kg.

So our 1kg bowl will displace 1kg of water - which is incidentally about 1 liter, because the density of water is about 1kg/l (it was intentionally defined that way, some guys in the French revolution used water to define mass by volume)

That’s weirdly the only good thing about it all: The EU finally learning that we need to disengage from the US. That’s something that will take decades and next time the US has a “good” leadership for a few years people will shout for more integration, but slooowly it sinks in that the US is NOT a partner and is NOT reliable and will forever be caught oscillating between center and far right in that two party system.

I’m not making bread but got into making pizza. I have a dough box which fits into. my fridge. I measure good flour, water, salt and yeast, give it a but in my household kitchen machine of kneading so it doesn’t warm up too much and then put it away.
Maybe I’ll try with practically no machnine kneading next time, just run the machine until everything is mixed well.

I now can easily compare different Oils with each other and also have some compassion how much energy per volume the oil has. If I need the exact values for my “serving”, I can easily and correctly calculate them.
Oh and liquids are specified in amount person 100ml, not per amount in 100g.
This is useful info. And of course when I use OIL I know what I do, the differences aren’t too large between oils, energy-wise. For snacks I do glance at that info, however.
(Oh and the label info made me less afraid of using oils - I use quite a lot of olive oil, even more than sunflower oil for cooking. I can use A LOOOT of oil in my cooking , if I just leave out that snickers bar later in the day)
Update: Btw my sunflower oil declares a serving to be 10ml, while still listing the 100ml values.

In the end the F35 is a tool for bullying other nations with the tools of yesteryear, not something for modern conflict. “Put all your eggs into one overpowered basket” ist not the way to fight wars anymore, as the US is learning in Iran. Numerous and cheap is what counts.
I give you the thing about Eurofighter. I just believe the F35 is completely the wrong tool for the future. Maintenance heavy, ongoing support dependent, expensive, hard to replace. All it’s cool features can’t make up for its shortcomings.
It’s a classical Wunderwaffe.
What we need is something simple, defense oriented and not attack oriented.
