I am very interested as to how they make these decisions. What framework leads them to believe these things? What is their reasoning here? I understand that it might not be reasoned, but if it is reasoned then it may be fascinating to know how these conclusions were reached.
I disagree. My inspired philosophy is that skirt and pant usage should be restricted based on one’s speed.
Skirts have a greater amount of area that can (and, I would argue, must) be covered with pockets. It is a sad truth that this increased surface area and pocket count greatly decreases ones speed. This is not even counting the contents of the pockets! It naturally follows that skirts should be worn by those who optimize for carrying capacity rather than speed, such as construction workers.
The aerodynamic nature of pants lends itself to those who must move quickly and efficiently. This is not, however, to endorse hard pants, which are abhorrent. The most holy form of pants are cargo shorts, which maintain a balance of low drag and limited carrying capacity, and should rightfully be provided to every citizen free of charge.
It’s very sad to see people arguing about gender when they should be arguing about SPEED.

A group of humans need to pass through a doorway with two doors. The leading human opens one of the doors and passes through the doorway. The next human follows them through the open doorway, and so does the next, and the one after them. The humans bunch up around the one open door, funneling themselves through it rather than opening the other door right beside it.
Then I, the smartest and best of humans, make use of my divine and otherworldly gifts to open the other door that was right there the WHOLE TIME. Truly I am a gift upon the world. Someone should give me chocolates.
