With the recent solar and battery rebates peak wholesale electricity rates have dropped. Retail electricity rates haven’t, and daily charges have doubled.

And the density of the space needed to produce energy with it vs a battery?
I prefer photopea. Completely browser based and ready for anything quick. Haven’t tried anything in depth with it though.

Batteries have sorted that. We just haven’t installed enough yet. The combination of renewables and batteries is better than nuclear by every metric.
Less stress on the grid at peak times reduces the requirement for grid infrastructure to handle the peak.
