I watched the 1st hour and it didn’t really answer any of my questions about how they came to be or found success. It kind of did in the sense that they’re goofy, dedicated and it’s hard to deny their talent. People vibe with them or they don’t and maybe that’s all there is. The narrator doesn’t really add a ton of insight though and it sucks YouTube makes them afraid to swear with how many song titles have then. The gag bleep joke wears very thin quick.

So sad to open this and see Suburban Legends inspired it!! They were my favorite band for a good while. I love most ska anyway, but I always felt their musicianship and performances set them apart. I found them early when they were more like Reel Big Fish and watched the transformation up to this album. I’d still say they have more of a disco lean on the album before, “Infectious”, than a run of the mill ska band, but I get being disappointed if you liked the feel of this song alone.

Sure. In the bigger cities sometimes. More often we’ll say convenience stores, bodegas or just use the chain store name like 7-11. But corner store gets used often enough even if the stores aren’t actually on corners
