People are a bunch of bastards. Embrace nature and live like a hermit.

You know, one from reality itself.
Overcomplicated for some can be the right mix for others, there are lots of niche games that take longer to explain than to play and are at the top of BGG.
Make board games and you will live forever*.
*As long as your boardgames exist.
Edit: This was supposed to be read as an inspirational post. If you read it otherwise, go back to the beginning and reread it, don’t collect 200 dollars.

I wouldn’t say that nature is cruel, but amoral and chaotic, with a focus on trying all the venues for survival, whith some for moral beings like us, seemingly cruel.
When I did experimentation, I often focused on minimizing harm. I also try doing as much good as I am doing “bad”. That helps me deal with this.
We were recently dealing with a metacarpal fracture. Now we’re evaluating if we’re doing cirurgy or not… (Falco Tinnunculus).

Also sharks are awesome, they are older than trees, have important ecological roles and most sharks won’t attack any humans. Some even can befriend you, like a toothy puppy.
The ones that do, tend to do it for curiosity and dislike us because were boney and hurts their teef, it is not their fault that we have the bad habit of bleeding out when we’re in the sea.
As analogies go, this is a bad one:
I don’t think it is as easy understanding when someone might hurt you, and it is not like you can choose to have your date be in the water while you chat them up from a boat.
