peoplesdispatch had a pretty good summary of it: US urges Europe to embrace colonial legacy to protect Western world domination. Followed by a plug for how great China is, of course, because tankies. Still, the love for colonialism is disgusting.
No I’m just saying you might as well give up on that dream - the regime will have more support than ever, now.
