  • I was just really put off by the scrutiny in renting the place. And the cost…it was not cheap, none of the options were.

In a way I understand, but if I’m renting an apartment or standalone dwelling for a weekend I’d like to at least have a couple of drinks after going out and let smokers smoke outside, which is what I was looking for. We’re not talking raging party here, just winding down after a show.

The experience just looking at the option really sucked. It didn’t take long for me to decide it wasn’t the way. That was confirmed when I went the traditional option and got a great apartment right on the river that met all the requirements for hundreds less than the AirBNB options.

  • This one will do me, as someone whose profession requires practical adaptation of mathematics in real world environments.

Seeing what I can see with the development of AI, it looks to me that any application which requires intensive calculation to solve one or more direct problems would be its strength but there still would probably need the mathematician (in my case spatial scientist) set the boundaries of what needs to be solved. Pardon the pun.

How AI dealt with variables such as pressure, temperature and heat expansion at certain times of the day within a measurement or several very long baseline measurements would all be dependent on the ‘mathematician’ behind the calculations, for a real example I could give.

  • Stop fighting amongst yourselves please, and get united.

Your options are limited to voting your way out of it as a team or peaceful shutdown as a team. Both take unity. Preferably, this election is fair and you do it this way.

You’ve already proven to yourselves you can do it…it happened a couple of days ago in Michigan. Yes, I’m aware it’s different across the country, I’ve had you yell that at me for months. Either way it’s the same end…a candidate wins by a majority of votes.

Either way the options are limited and you have to have a go.

It’s hard for the rest of us to accept your excuses though, when we see you fight amongst yourselves like you are here.

Go ahead, attack me for this, but it stays the same, Sanders is correct, and if your hatred of my comment or my view gets you voting or helping someone else to, my job is done.

  • I’d like to see them at least stop melting down at each other and at least unify to remove their problem. I saw a post in the politics sub about Sanders asking them all to just vote and they’re attacking each other across the entire post. This is probably the smallest of the places out there to discuss but if it’s any indication, the same shit will happen this election as well.

They’re resigned to two options and the sooner they accept it the better off they’ll be. The first one is coming up in a couple of months and as many as possible need to be on one page about it.
