  • This is maybe more of a category of stereotypes rather than a specific one, but I’ve realised that people often still make very binary assumptions about gender and sexuality.

They think that transition is a linear path and that every trans woman wants to get “the surgery” and then the transition will be “complete”. In a lesbian couple one of them needs to “be the man”. Or with sexuality, you’re either attracted to a certain gender or not and there’s no in between.

We use labels to help with communication, but reality is so much more nuanced and interesting!

  • I just saw these advertised in my inbox yesterday, I was surprised to see them again here!

I’m not sure what I’d do with them though, I think they’d look too unflattering/masculine on me for my taste. But I really like the embroidery and laced sides. Maybe a top with laces could pull the outfit together? Or one of those tops with extra straps, my favourite are the ones that make a pentagram out of them 😈

I feel like just a T-shirt would work too, for a more casual and less “goth” look. Personally I’m trying to get away from them because I used to wear them too much and I’m leaning towards more feminine clothing these days, but I think something like a band shirt could match the vibe of these shorts as well, if you’re into that sort of thing.

It’s probably still a lot harder though. You’re not just heavier, but also slower which means you’ll spend more time fighting gravity. And all the extra fuel you bring for that makes the rocket heavier which means you need even more fuel to launch the fuel. Higher surface gravity likely means a thicker atmosphere too which is a big issue and a more massive body also has a faster orbital velocity. Although in this case the larger diameter might counteract that a bit because higher orbits have slower velocities.

My point is that this would probably still be a lot harder than just building a 50% bigger rocket. If you’ve ever tried launching from Eve in Kerbal Space Program you know the pain. Although in that case you also have to fly the entire rocket there first which is its own challenge.
