my laptop is a 2016 laptop and it’s literally falling apart. I know there’s just one. It’s held up with duct tape and hope. Literally. I duct tape it so pieces don’t fall out. I checked multiple times. I would use a external drive but only one USB is working and that’s for keyboard and mouse as the keyboard on it is broken. Also no battery because it was very fluffy. Why the case is duct tape. It kinda broke it. Lol.

FYI I am a American so I’m incredibly poor. I have other computers but there even older and worse then that one. Great for servers though

After a couple of YEARS trying to find work around for native rimworld problems. I found a couple interesting things that it’s not the developer that was the problem it was the game engine unity that broke certain things and the unity game engine people wouldn’t fix.

I now play it on proton with its own set if weird problems.

But just know that maybe these Indy games that run specific engines can’t tos shit about things because the fucking people who make the engine won’t fix it.

Just my experience from rimworld is all.

Pissed off on windows 11. Couldn’t change things I needed or wanted. Didn’t allow for basic shit. Kept on giving me ads and other fucking annoying things. Broke a lot slow and pathetic. Wanted a fucking proper start menu back again the place I been using it for last 30 fucking years. Updates took forever and ever and often broke everything and have to reinstall. Can’t disable auto update ad settings kept resetting each update.

I just wanted a simple computer that just worked. Turned on and just worked every time. Nothing changes without me changing them. Simple and intuitive.

I tried windows again as a duel boot. It wiped broke my Linux partition because micro crap hates people. Never ever going back unless it’s a dedicated machine for the 2 games I rarely play that work slightly better on Windows.

Rather never play games or use the Internet then switch back to windows.

EDIT : got me so mad my Grammer and spelling went out the window. Lol

Turns out being autistic in a society designed against autistic people made me apparently the bad person because I wasn’t “normal”. Like I have a fucking choice.

Just get a console they said. Console just works they said. Why get a PC when it won’t work in a year they said.

This is why I don’t buy consoles. I can use a controller on my computer which is upgradable and not subject to one individual company dictating what I can and can’t do.

Listen to songs that are more then 10 years old. My autism doesn’t like new music so I just have a playlist of over 4k. Although I did add a few from music creators from TikTok. Very little though. I’m quite strict

Ads are manipulative and predatory, if you don’t have a good extensive ad block on all your devices, you will fall for them even if you think you ignoring them, they are made and designed for you to get stuff subconsciously not knowing you are doing this. What really bothers me is how it actually can fuck up elderly and disabled people, had a ex who’s parents actually bought things without realizing it because a ad played and they didn’t know they was being coerced of emulated, they bought so so much things they didn’t need with the Little money they had.

I will always provide help to people around me on how to block as much ads as possible on there machines, however possible. Fuck the corporations.

Always remember, gender is something that can change over time. Doesn’t mean your gender fluid, just means your different gender at different times is all. Everyone says your born a specific gender, but gender is what you specify you are at any given time in your life. No matter what, always remember you and your gender you feel at any time is normal and it’s totally ok to explore what gender you are. And yes you can be gender fluid at different times too. And that’s ok.
