5 days agoin the book Chani is pretty much fully supportive and goes along with whatever Paul wants/needs to do, but in the movie she’s very much not a believer and doesn’t seem to trust him, especially by the end of the second movie

I suppose that’s true enough. while the GOG library is all DRM free, I guess I don’t really see the practical difference, since I can also play all my installed steam games offline too. don’t get me wrong, I will check and purchase through GOG first, when there’s better deals, but I have a decent sized library that I can’t have it all downloaded, so in my use case, it’s effectively the same. I can still download delisted games on steam that I’ve purchased, but if either steam or GOG shut down servers, I’ll be outta luck
not that I disagree with you, but what happens if GOG’s server get shutdown for whatever reason? would that put us out of anything we didn’t download?
the main branch in Vancouver used to(might still, but don’t live there now) have a full on recording studio you could book sessions and rent almost any kinda instrument and/or equipment you wanted. did a few recordings there and it was awesome. sound isolation booths and all sorts of studio monitors and headphones. really cool stuff

46·1 month agoI know this is all jokes, but just to stop the perpetual piss is sterile thing, it’s absolutely not sterile
that would be awesome! I do photography and I mostly focus on landscapes, but I’ve been trying to get better at take bird photos and I’m not very good at it yet. those guys are flighty!
nothing much to add that hasn’t already been said. just wanted to echo that these are top notch illustrations! easily could be featured in a science or ornithology journal!

it’s got more simplistic graphics and isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but MotorTown is kinda trying to do this. regular big free updates and made originally by a single guy. lots of love in it. I’m big into sims and was surprised how quickly I was hooked by it
