This is a great read outlining how the U.S. and Russia are influencing vast swarms of people in Alberta with pro separation propaganda. Spread this article if you agree with your peers, family, and friends especially inside of Alberta to help educate them on how they’re being manipulated by foreign powers.

This is not to say they aren’t applying influence, but there’s a not insignificant set within Alberta that has been pushing this for decades. They’ve even run candidates in elections (and come distant fourth).

It’s tempting to dismiss the whole thing as a psyop but it’s worth remembering that these campaigns can only amplify what’s already there, they can’t invent it themselves.

I’m positive of this also. I’m also some what positive the referendum is going to happen. Because of how convoluted they have this October vote set up. They well say something like it is inconclusive so we well have the referendum just to be sure. Then for the actual vote people well be like didn’t we just vote for this and not show up.

Russia just used a referendum as justification to invade. The US could easily fake this one and attack. If it’s allowed to take place then we’ve already lost.

I wish when journalists and commentators discussed the USA and its language about annexing Canada, they would speak in those terms.

Using the expression “the 51st state”, affirms an ontological existence of such a thing. I think that’s a semantic concession that shouldn’t be made, certainly not by any Canadian, or by anyone who wants world stability, order, and sanity.

It’s all AI slop too. There is nothing organic about this “movement”. The Albertans who are falling for this don’t see that America just wants their resources. They think because they’re white Christians, that America cares about them.

America does not care about them.

If Albertans think being Canadian sucks, then they’re not going to like being second-class Americans any better.

I mean I’m Statesian and while I would love for canamerida to one day exist, I’d like it to not happen with the orange turd fire alive. I just want the good poutine without having to show a passport.

This is exactly how things were before 9/11. We go back and forth between the borders all the time for day visits, vacations. Never needed a passport.

You can once again thank a republican president for taking away more of your freedoms and pushing the patriot act down your throats.

I mean did you even say thank you?

Sure. And there wasn’t anything grassroots about the tea party movement of 2008. It was 💯 astroturfed. And it still worked.

You have to fight against these things, violently. Or you will lose. There were too few of us to take the fight seriously in the US. Learn from our mistake and don’t assume you won’t make the same ones

The US doesn’t even care about their own white Christians, why would they care about ours.

      Dumbfucks.

This is why people in the province and on social media need to make aware what’s happening in hopes of waking them up to the reality that is headed their way should the vote to separate.

Exactly. They would end up like the CNMI, at best. There is NO WAY Americans would allow Albertans to be considered as equals.
