Hi this is my comic, its about late 1800s europe, psychological warfare mixed with witchcraft and folktale. For a better reading experience click scroll view
Im on chapter two, I like it so far. The faces are expressive and you can feel the tension. Writing seems off a bit in some places, maybe a translation or other language barrier?
Yea can u tell me what page
Chapter 1
- Page 3, the use of “huh” is a bit odd here. Usually “huh” is associated with questioning something or uncertainty/not understanding. I think maybe “hey” or “here” might work better?
- Page 12, typo “congratelate” should be “congratulate”
- Page 17, the text goes outside the bubble
- Page 24, there is a typo “envolved” should be “involved”
I don’t normally read these types of comics/stories in this format but your drawing style interested me and I’m intrigued by the story now. Very well done!
Much appreciation. For “huh” he was catching his breath (sfx), what do u think i should replace it with?
Ah, I see. I think just breaking up the text might work better. Add a panel with the father hunched over with his hands on his knees… Then the next panel he speaks. Your visuals are so good/expressive I think it would get the point across.
Thank you
I was wondering about that too, frankly. But the point of this SubPie is not to say “only the most exclusive stuff belongs.”
No, IMO it’s just nice that our little platform can be a part of showing off future talent & creativity. ❤️
Little help? to identify the mistakes i’ve made 😅
As I mentioned earlier, an introduction to the strip would help. You can still edit that in to your post.
Apart from that, you’re clearly in the comics-creation process, while also showing promise. That’s a journey! I don’t know if this helps you, but I also posted this here, a couple months ago:
Edited it, link gives me an error with ‘couldn’t find community’ message
Seems to have worked over here?

Btw, one other approach to use is to make the post an ‘image post’ instead of a ‘URL post.’ So you upload some interesting art, include the synopsis, and the link. You may get more clicks that way, so it’s something to keep in mind.
It says “manga,” but the characters seem to be Euro, so I welcome this contribution.
In future, adding some kind of introduction or synopsis on what the series is about would be helpful.
Ofc, thanks for letting me know
