Not really relevant to the main content but I’m sure you could make a good metaphor out of burning the US to the ground in the same way fires are good for praries and such, most plants survive the fire with their deep roots but the invasive and bigger plants like trees die in the fire, keeping the space clear for the grasses to thrive in the fertilized soil after the fire.
Probably with the grasses being everyday people (something something grassroots organizing) and the trees being the oligarchs and such
While the indigenous people do have rights, you really shouldn’t condone genocide against peple who have lived there for 30+ years of no fault of their own.
Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if the US does fracture, but that whims of oligarchs trying to build their own feudal kingdoms. So long as you don’t mind Muskland and Amazonia being the countries, it would solve the problem of the US being untouchable militarily.
That said, we’re gonna need to see some shit before this country ever collapses. It is impossible to invade and has a very homogeneous culture with vanishingly few regional differences. Even the west coast would have a hard time seceding, and it’s probably the area with the best chances.
I don’t think America should be nuked, because that would do more irreparable damage to Indigenous land, but I do think the American government should collapse.
Okay I resolved the disagreement by agreeing with both sides, what do I win?
A perfectly good option would be the abolition of borders and the state, not whatever the hell this is.
