I’m trying to get into Georgian food after a very inspiring restaurant visit. This one is pretty basic, but it’s a nice stepping stone to the more interesting dishes. Tastes as you’d expect: Fried bread with salty cheese and butter
I should call her.
It’s probably a good idea to reach out to all your recent sexual partners.
Jokes on you, I don’t have any.
There’s a raw egg in the middle?? O.o
I’ve only eaten this dish once but its delicious. The cheese comes out molten, you stir the egg yolk in and the residual heat cooks it and it becomes more of a fondue texture. After mixing, you tear pieces of bread off the side and dip them.
Khachpuri / Khinkali changed my life when I first discovered them. mind blown
The eye of georgian sees all, hey put that fork down…
Her whispering eye.
Why are the ingredients in English but the instructions in Georgian? Thought I was having a stroke
That’s because I forgot to translate it 😅 Fixed now!
FYI, “Montering” - may wanna double check, lol
Looks fantastic!
dang
What does it look like after you cook it?
What? This is cooked
Is it a traditional breakfast?
whoever hasn’t tried pkhali/mkhali yet, you gotta
Stuffing from left and right corners was eaten or…?
The bread expanded more than the cheese wanted to move :( Or maybe it should have been a bit narrower
