I think that the push of AI on the software development this will be a huge hurdle to solve, even if we manage to solve. This is my view on the cognitive debt with AI tooling. And how shit it is to help on this.

    Great write up, well said.

    I feel like a lot of the conversations about AI can be too black and white. “100% of the output is garbage, never going to use it.” vs “I use it for everything and blindly copy/paste the output, I get so much done!”

    We’re missing some of the more nuanced conversations that this post highlights well. Thanks for sharing!

    Also, your English is great, I’m a native speaker and I never would’ve guessed it’s not your first language if you hadn’t mentioned it. :)

      My major concern is: “who is steering this ship”, because if every decision fall on the mechanical parrot we have problems. At the same token, for some very specific use cases the parrot can be useful. But leaving all the decision making for it is a problem in my humble view.
