Shoulda heard about that experiment they did with DNA several years ago. Didn’t make much news, but they tried taking crab DNA and combining it with some from a cheetah. Didn’t work out; things went sideways, fast.

On the one side we’ll be fighting the Chinese sprinter karate AI robots. On the other side we’ll be fighting the Neanderthal crabs.

How do I pick? Or does someone assign them?

Your opponents will choose you. So essentially someone assigns them.

The message in question: “Remember Citadel”

(My Wifi’s name was Citadel Station for a long time until Prey 2016 came along, nowadays it is Space Station Talos One for 5Ghz and Kletka for 2.4Ghz lol)

I love a good media reference in wifi. ive got mine labeled Outpost 31,but looking at the default names around me I don’t think any of my neighbors age big enough John Carpenter fans to get the reference…

Hmm gonna make a guest wifi with an easily guessable password if you are somewhat in the know in the media and make a semi-public share with interesting stuff for people - that’s going into the todo-list

I wouldn’t mind doing that and having all web traffic re-routed to my jellyfin server. Guess the password? You get free movies!
