    I mean…

The candidate could actually fucking campaign there…

But considering the Dem was a registered Republican until 3 years ago, and only changed to run in the 2024 election as a Dem instead of a Republican…

    I don’t think that’s gonna happen.

She’s better than the Republican, but if she’s the incumbent next time, she sure as shit needs primaried

But that explains why she has to run Republican level attack ads and can’t just go to this area and talk to voters; she’s a neoliberal. The more Dem voters hear about a neoliberal , the less they want to vote for them.

If she had progressive policy and could campaign on that, this would be another “come out of nowhere” race that the billionaire’s talking heads would have to pretend they don’t know why it’s happening

Progressive policy wins election, this neoliberal bullshit just gets us tossups, even with how shitty it is now

The output from many “trusted” news sources today is about as shitty as what your dog outputs, so at least you’re getting genuine love as part of the deal.

Maybe one of the reasons that folks are turning to alternative sources is that traditional sources feel the need to engage in this sort of bullshit presentation. Holy fuck, what moron thought that this was a reasonable way to present information?

It’s more that the news used to be funded in part (or whole) by advertising. Basically a newspaper was an ad delivery mechanism, with the news part being there only to get you to look at ads. Without that, news is unaffordable for most, so you end up with people just disconnecting.

Honestly this cycle everyone and their gramma just wants some reliefs on food prices and everything else priceses. Inflation is way over the top. So you don’t need to find voters. If you’re the right person, we’re eagerly looking for you actively.
