I know I’m crazy, I know I’m a problem. I know, okay?? 😭

But…I’m worth it! Some dick could really fix me, I believe :3

In my limited experience you ain’t really crazy if you think you’re crazy. The people who think they’re normal are the truest of the lunatics.

Sexual content has been actively suppressed on corpo platforms for the last few years, as has swearing and other advertiser/conservative unfriendly content. See the frequent censoring of swearing in swear words leading to people saying ahh instead of ass. It really comes from the top too. Payment processors especially have been enforcing puritanical values everywhere from Steam to Onlyfans.

This censorship is also disproportionately applied to queer communities and content. Lgbt moderators are encouraged to remove nsfw content, while lgbtq content is often considered nsfw by default (this pairs nicely with age verification laws that block nsfw content without id, allowing the corps and governments to further censor and track us). All the while, chuds are always given more leniency; a trend that goes back at least a decade.

The oligarchs have effectively instituted Hayes code era standards on most of the internet, with most people not even realizing it. Meanwhile, Lemmy is somewhat of a haven from these standards, allowing us to be openly horny and queer like we used to. Still, with the niche reach of the platform, it’s hard to deny that the right has already succeeded in marginalizing us.

Because Lemmy is populated by tech nerds and therefore has an outsized population of transfems and furries. :3
