So being anti-fascist is being a terrorist? I sure am glad most of the WW2 vets aren’t here to witness that everything they fought for would make them a terrorist.

At what point does the benefit outweigh the risk of driving around with your flak jacket and 3D printed piece? When do you make the switch from locked away and secret to always ready?

I also like how the Islamic terrorists are “legacy” as if there’s nothing going on right now that could be generating a whole new generation of Anti-American terrorists. It’s only some old guys who still hate us for our 2000’s freedom.

Does anyone know if these left-wing extremists, anarchists, and anti-fascists are accepting applicants? How are the health plans?

I am starting to seriously wonder if this instance is safe to use, even though I am very careful to always use Tor.

If it makes you feel any better, AI is great at pattern recognition and will be able to cross-link &/or deanonymize any user that has posted even a relatively small amount of text.

Humans have a very limited and specific vocabulary (stylometry) even without regionalisms. Just don’t believe anything you say online will stay anonymous, because it won’t… Unless you use a local AI to process everything you write with a different persona (e.g. pirate, yarr).

            Here’s a general primer https://programminghistorian.org/en/lessons/introduction-to-stylometry-with-python

It’s ultimately just statistics, and AI is far better than humans at finding patterns in massive data sets. They are perfectly suited to stylometry. The more text they have of a given user, the higher the probability of cross-referencing against identified users (Facebook, Twitter, etc).

Even if you never post publicly, the problem is western governments have been engaging in dragnet mass surveillance for decades, which means the US gov — probably many govs, especially your own — almost certainly have every text message, email, etc you’ve ever written; all are transmitted unencrypted. This means the US, and likely your own gov, have the highest probability of deanon-ing you. They also have the highest budgets ace access to perform such a task.

Again, it’s only a matter of time until 99% of “anonymous” accounts, above a certain word count, are cross-referenced; likely only a few thousand words. I suspect they could already do 99% of accounts above 10 or 20k words.

Then you don’t understand how mentally ill and authoritarian the surveillance state, or fascists, are…

They already have dragnet data capture going back decades. Hundreds of billions spent on data centers. The process can be entirely automated, and will be, soon if not already.

You underestimate the power of the internet. If ordinary people found out that TOR is no longer safe they will flock to another darknet.

While this is just the next phase of fascism we all expected, and as incompetent as the FBI has become, no one should doubt that this is a dangerous escalation. I haven’t been able to fly for almost 20yrs because of “alleged” ties to ALF/ELF during the terror panic that birthed Homeland Security post-9/11. That was when the modern surveillance state was just getting rolling.

Yeah, nevermind the actual terrorists that do things like…checks notes…storm the Capitol, beat up police and were seeking to hang members of Congress and the Vice President in an effort to overturn a free and fair election.

Hey, he got the Georgia ballots, so I’m fairly sure the next step is to “find” 11,780 that were never counted and declare himself the true winner of 2020.

Ergo he would’ve been elected for a third-consecutive term in 2024, so he should be ineligible and everything he’s done since null-and-void? I guess? I dunno where they are going with this except to write the history books in their favor.
