According to a senior official, from the US perspective, a takeover of Greenland by the United States is currently the only way to address the long-term security risks surrounding the island, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

“We continue to believe that this is the best way to meet NATO’s defence requirements with regard to Greenland,” he told journalists yesterday ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara.

At the same time, he said that other options were also being examined. He did not specify what these might entail. The senior government official pointed out that there was “intense naval activity” in the region around Greenland and that US President Donald Trump was seeking a “permanent” solution.

“So far, we see the acquisition of Greenland by the United States as the only solution,” the official added.

An attack on Greenland is an attack on a founding member of NATO, since the island belongs to Denmark despite its autonomy. The U.S. won’t attack NATO. Why would it? Not even that orange pedo would be that unbelievably stupid.

This nonsense was already ridiculous the last time around. I don’t understand how anyone can take this seriously.

History is going to prove you wrong.

        The U.S. won’t attack NATO

No problem at all. He would simply redefine the term ‘attack’ first. And on the next day, he would publish 2 more pages from the Epstein files, then nobody talks about Greenland anymore.

        Why would it?

        Because he can.

Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty states that an armed attack against one NATO member shall be considered an attack against all members, and triggers an obligation for each member to come to its assistance.

          Source

If there were no straight up declaration of war by all NATO member states, the U.S. would lose its closest allies, and sanctions would be imposed that would cost everyone involved a great deal of money.

“Because he can” won’t be enough for the people who put Trump in the position he’s in.
