When I had a chill, stable life, I fantasized about living a wild one. Now that I have a wild life, I fantasize about having a chill, stable one.

    It sounds less like you want stability or debauchery and more like you want the ability to choose your course more fluidly. I like occasional fast food, but not at the expense of all fine dining.
