It’s clearly not for them; as we continue to get pummeled by aggrigious behavior by world leaders it habituates us the be progressively less shocked by the next insult to democracy and human rights. Checking ourselves and putting these individual acts of hate, racism, xenophobia, and fascism in perspective is the one thing we can do to try to push the bar back to where it belongs.
Uh I don’t think “praise be to Allah” is an act of hate, racism, xenophobia and fascism, but also if the goal is to “push the bar back to where it belongs” then clearly it’s not working. Maybe consider doing something about the hate, racism, xenophobia and fascism?
