After you’ve made your pick, your memory of the conversation is wiped, and you are brought back to earth to live the rest of your life however it might play out. The future of the world will be hard set in destiny to a future inspired by whatever you picked.

As for which one I’d want… Maybe Brave New World? It’s not wildly different in some ways from our own world but basically everyone except for the ones on the ‘reservations’ seems to have their physical and emotional needs met, just in a ‘monkey’s paw wish’ way. Probably one of the least horrible dystopias for the actual residents.
