yup, mainly if do it thru liver, but also thru 5a its turns into neurosteroid - allopregnanolone, and yeah i feel this effect, but taking 5a inhibitors like finasteride will numb allopregnanolone synthesis as well, i wanna try bicalutamide to numb androgen receptors, some androgens have direct neurosteroid effect without AR
Im not verry educated on this topic but i saw somewhere that progresteron lowers androgen production if thats true would taking a load of prog block the conversion from prog to dht and other androgen metabolites (sorry for bad english i hope im understanable)
prog will supress hpg axis, so suppressing luterizing hormone will stunt gonadal production, but taking prog orally will def create dht backdoor, and also mental side effect due too much conversion to allopregnanolone neurosteroid by same 5a reductase action, so taking rectally is better option, as well better levels of prog itself
