To be fair, we got three conservative Supreme Court justices who said roe v wade was law and they would support it at their confirmations only to backtrack and knock it down the second they had a chance. Not saying she’s good or even on the right side but saying something is law doesn’t mean you support it staying the law. Interesting times ahead for Ohio
but saying something is law doesn’t mean you support it staying the law.
Is that the impression I should be getting from her misgendering trans girls?
Absolutely not, the misgendering is terrible but I could see her doing that to try and win some of the centrists over even at the cost of alienating the liberal support because the other option is trash (main democrat policy in a nutshell). I just hold a little hope that it’s a bad facade to get past the election.
Would you vote for someone using the N-word to appeal to racists?
Personally No. Luckily I don’t live in Ohio and have to make that choice between her and the gop rep.
If she wins, they’re stuck with her in the next election too. They won’t be able to nominate anyone else because she’ll be the incumbent. In the meantime she’ll drag the rest of her party down, depressing voter turnout as people stay home because they don’t want to vote for a party that has leaders like her.
