Pelicans are weird too. A couple of flaps and they’re airborne, and then they just glide like Spitfires in a lazy dog fight. Saw some kingfishers too, little blue furballs unwilling to stay still for a camera shot the damn teasers.
Spent a week on a boat chilling with pelicans and cormorants and getting black out drunk. You’d think I’m joking
