I enjoyed The Long Walk for the same reason. Very faithful adaptation of my favourite Bachman book, although I am hoping for a director’s cut. I didn’t see any trailers before watching so I was very surprised and pleased to see who the actor for The Major was. The interactions between all the kids is just great.

Sorry, wasn’t being sarcastic. I was trying to remember some of my favourite comic strips when I was at the library recently. I knew I was missing a few but couldn’t recall them and I haven’t picked up a newspaper for the comics in years. Pearls Before Swine is one of the strips I was trying to remember, and I haven’t had it cross my path in a while.

I hate how Ross’ wife turning out to be a lesbian was somehow a failure on his part. But that said it was pretty important for representation at the time. Lots of people wouldn’t watch the show at first because it had gay people.
