They’re just recycling the same franchises, which is fine, but asking full price for what feels like an expansion is annoying. Tears of the kingdom is a good example.

Yeah I’m old relative to these kids, but I guarantee the vast majority are someday going to look back and wonder what the hell they were thinking.
If I’m forced to see it then I’m going to complain about it in a relevant lemmy thread.
Seeing teens and those in their early 20s with a mustache always makes me chuckle. It doesn’t work on a fresh, wrinkle-free face.
Sure, you can, but odds are you look like an idiot
IMO the vast majority of men cannot pull off a mustache. In order to pull off a mustache, you need to project competence, authority, and maturity. You absolutely must exude all three without trying. If you’re under 30 don’t even try. Furthermore, it must look good. Thick, full, groomed. Again, all three required. The percentage of the male identifying population that has all six of those attributes is way lower than what I’m seeing in the wild. If you know someone close to you who is mustachioed but doesn’t have the attributes, shave it off. If they’re mad, tell them someone deserving of a mustache wouldn’t have let that happen.
Edit: your hate for my opinion won’t make your mustasche look good

12·13 days agoOh you’re just a doomer. That’s cute. Keep that shit to yourself, don’t drag people down into your pit of despair.
There’s going to be a reasonable future kiddo. I understand why one would be bearish on humanity today, but there will be reason to be optimistic in our lifetimes. You best invest in yourself today so you have something to lean on later. You’re not going to get to say “I told you so,” but I will.

12·14 days agoOh I see what happened, you dodged my original question with a technicality. So why are you telling people (who didn’t ask) that you think there won’t be a future worth living in? Do you really think people want to hear that?

1·14 days agoI really take issue with your point of view. It’s fine to think that way, but keep it to yourself. Others believe there will be a future that conscious entities will enjoy. Will lives be as easy as those of American baby boomers? Probably not. Will lives be filled with endless suffering? Probably not. Why would you want to tell people you think there won’t be a future? That’s just unnecessary and a bit cruel, imo.

politics @lemmy.world•Dems are suddenly very serious about retaking the Senate
0·9 months agoI’m having flashbacks to the 2016 primary. They had a guy like Mamdani in policy and principle and decided to put their finger on the scale for Hillary. The 2020 primary wasn’t much better, although it seemed a bit more fair however they could have run anyone and won. Have they finally learned their lesson? They’ll probably be able to win with anyone in 2028 depending on the Republican candidate, so why won’t they run a lackey for the rich again?
Didn’t those trees become coal, not oil?

How well would these perform if they were placed inside an exterior wall of a climate controlled space? Say there’s a 30°F difference between the outside space and the inside space.
