Then gradually you notice old power structures reasserting themselves, often under new names or terms. So the notion of freedom in the sense of a classless society has never existed, and will probably never exist. That does not mean that the world cannot become more fair. But mankind can never be forced to become something it is not. An ideology forced down the throat of all empirical evidence.

Europe, for the most part does not agree with US wars, and this is one of the reasons why it should have a better defense. It is also fair that US tax dollars benefit US citizens, education and health? The Eu can create many things, but is dependent on them using what the y create. You say there are no rare earth mines, but there is rare earth both in Norway and on Greenland. Greenland has no infrastructure, and would be very expensive. We don’t agree with the US in many of their wars, why should we then be dependent on the US in defense and why should the US pay? 2. I think the AI revolution may bring uncertainty in the employment market, and that part of the motivation for strange US policies may have something to do with an anticipation of uncertainty. The way i see this is that problem with Ai is the way that a network feeds into it. But you in stead had a local Ai on your pc, which controlled fully, these issues would not be so relevant. So a two step approach would be to use copyright arguments for personal data against the use of aggregated stuff into ai. Meaning that once you delete your account with AI, your data is totally blanked out, and it learnt nothing. But your local AI on your PC might learn, and when you die, you may donate it to your children or have it deleted. And it will then tell your offspring what you wondered about while you lived. But this will your choice.

I dont live in the US. But what i expected was that they would implement Ai in those devices that scan or work directly on blood, and also in routine task in organizations. And i also expected some patient communication via Ai chat which feeds directly of your securely stored medical record. So that all advice would have your blood work, your medical statistics, weight, gender, height medical history etc as a foundation for the advice it offers. So while expected it to suggest tests, I expected a price comparison engine similar to pricerunner or kelkoo to provide you with the cheapest options at any time. So AI would suggest diagnosis, but not any provider of test or treatment.
