There’s lots of small chill beach towns, seems like a lovely place to live really. Been considering moving there actually 😆

I just finished it and now I wish they had made way more episodes because it was so good, they didn’t skip a beat at all, everyone just sank into their characters and it was perfect, really. I’m a pretty harsh judge and they did a good job. Everyone looked great too, amazing how they managed to get so many people back for it. It made me realize just how wonderful of a family show it is in hindsight and especially important to kids who felt weird growing up.

For sure, I’m 10 minutes into the new season and enjoying it!

Lots of reasons to be sure. Oversized companies with teams way too big working on massive games built on multiple frameworks using tools from several OTHER companies. The endless push for more polygons and photo realistic 3D graphics even though graphics have been good enough for years now. I feel like this world has a real problem with pushing things too far, everything has to be taken to an extreme, pushed and pushed, and then it gets broken or ruined. Every time.

I’m from the US, fuck US carmakers and these stupid ugly monstrosities. Go live out your lame ass monster truck fantasies in a fucking video game or something.

No one, hopefully, we’ve been buying far too much useless plastic garbage, replacing our electronics and appliances far more often than should be necessary, etc. etc. The whole economy is a sham.

I wish I had been more actively involved in the rave scene in the 90s, I went to a ton of them and was on the email lists and vrave (telnet raver chat) but I wish I had gotten more into the productions and helping to plan, set up, decorate and all that, I did help out once with one smaller barn party because I had a friend of a friend who ran an info line and was involved. I was just a teenager though, It was a wonderful time anyways. Hope that counts.

I’m starting to think this has nothing to do with the border and this asshole just wants his own “great wall” and his name associated with it in future history books or some other self indulgent narcissistic garbage. But it won’t be great and it probably won’t even be a wall because he only ever has an idea and never does anything right because he pawns all the responsibility off on someone else.

I’m sure it’s easy to tell people how to live when you’ve never had to think about how you’re going to pay for food. MIchelle Obama tried to do a sane version of this and they shit all over her.

The books were often filled with cool art not found in the game, sometimes there were hints hidden in the margins, or some had a mini-walkthru of the first level or something in the back, along with lore, they added a lot to the game imo. It felt like a well put together package, not unlike album artwork, liner notes and whole albums which people are also now (re)discovering are pretty cool.

Kid Rock is really the ultimate argument against celebrity culture lol.
