I don’t know about this, the dialogue seems a bit silly and it’s really taking me out how many known actors are in it. I can’t help but see “Robert Pattinson talking to Tom Holland” instead of who they’re supposed to be.
I also agree with others that the movie LOOKS really off. It’s such a drab color scheme with sterile sets that it could straight up pass as a sci-fi movie. Like it’s trying to be Dune or something.
VIKINGS: The Odyssey.
It looks nothing like the Mediterranean.
Everything about this movie makes me scratch my head. Is there really an appetite for an Odyssey movie adaptation… by Christopher Nolan?
A movie adaptation of a poem that is a laborious and convoluted read made by a director who is legendary for making laborious and convoluted stories.
Intellectually I appreciate its value to human literature… but I sure didn’t enjoy reading the thing. I will be passing on this movie.
It’s so dumb to make it a gritty version with a pretentious filmmaker like it’s about some serious space opera.
I hope Michael Caine plays Poseidon.
