It’s really ironic that public transit service is reduced on holidays when more people are likely to need it. It’s especially grievous for people that still have to get to work… it speaks a lot to how many city councils treat public transit, as if it wasn’t one of the few things that keeps a city going.
There may be an increase in irregular riders, but the regular ridership is down by a lot. Many people choose to stay home for the holidays or stay in their neighborhoods.
the bus schedules were on holiday service, so it took ages to get home. and it was cold and wet.
