    Hold up… this lil thing went all the way to an asteroid, brought a sample back to EARTH? And then just went back out to see more asteroids???

    That’s so cool!!!

    According to the article, after this it’s going to orbit and land on an asteroid that’s only 11m wide?

      Very interesting to me that asteroids that are not that much larger than a human can form/stay together! Let alone be landed on. How much gravity would we generate in space?

    I knew all those space photos were fake! You can see the strings holding them up!

    For real though, its crazy how we can get messages and pictures back from SUCH a far away distance. Fuck yeah science!

    These double-lobed asteroids always look so cool. Like, not that long ago if this image was in a science fiction movie I would have said ehhhh unlikely but here we are looking at them

      Yeah, I feel the same way. Atari, Star Wars and Star Trek kind of ruined several generations with ideas of smooth shaped asteroids with rounded impact craters.

      Yeah it’s funny how many of these there are now that we’re able to look at smallish objects.
