Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville called for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to be arrested and sent to the infamous American torture prison at Guantanamo Bay. Mamdani’s crime? Calling indicted alleged war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu an “architect of genocide,” responsible for a series of atrocities in the ongoing war on Gaza.
“Sooner or later,” Mamdani will “do something more stupid than what he’s done, where we will finally say enough is enough, go put the handcuffs on him … and send him to Gitmo,” Tuberville, a Republican, said, calling Mamdani a “thug.”
Stripping an American of rights and locking him up in a gulag?
Tuberville is un-American and I wish his voters knew or cared.
They know. They approve because he’s hurting the ‘right people.’
*the left people
Alabama is the worst state in the union, and Alabamians are the worst, look at who they voted for
These snowflakes are terrified of this guy.
If I spent my career pretending to be indignant at the inefficiency and ineffectiveness of the government while cosplaying as someone trying to fix the problem, I’d also be scared of the guy who showed it’s not only possible to bring about positive change, but possible to do in less than one term.
They really will do or say anything but their job, huh?
If we’re being real, Mamdami hasn’t even gotten his big plans rolling yet. He passed an easy tax (for people owning houses that don’t even live in NYC) and fixed some potholes. His biggest win was bartering with the state government to get more support (instead of the dreaded “tax the rich”). The rest was normal stuff with good PR aimed at the 21st century. That’s it.
But these relics spent decades minmaxing for cable news and can’t look human on social media at all. They are used to saying words then doing nothing. The bar is that low and they are scared at a dude bending his knees (he hasn’t even jumped yet).
At least they are finally breaking their fake decorum and sayong the quiet parts out loud. Makes it so much easier to tear down in the long term.
Conservatives have to demonize socialism because they know it’s the only possible thing that could pose a realistic threat to their greedy, cruel and self-serving lifestyles.
Guy from Alabama says some dumb shit. News at 11…
Alabama is the worst state in the union
He’s actually a Florida Man from Florida these days. He only pretends to be an Alabamian to hold down an Alabama Senate seat.
This fucktwat will do anything to distract from the fact that he’s a moron and a person who committed election fraud.
Ha ha go fuck yourself MAGAt moron.
Also pretty sure the entirety of NY would put up a fight over that if they tried.
Tommy Tuberville’s smell test on who should be sent to gitmo:
- Trying to help the taxpayers
- Trying to suffer less in life
- Anyone who has ever looked at a rainbow flag
- Anyone committing crimes so heinous that Tuberville becomes scared that you’ll uncover his fetishes
Getting threatened with gitmo by Tuberville means there’s a 75% chance that you’re pretty cool.
I feel like we should have a list of all these unhinged politicians top donors and their addresses for situations like this.
That doesnt sound very democratic of him
He will need to be protected by the people.
Sounds like his gay fantasy. “Tell me what would happen to me locked up with men”
arrest that punk for hate speech
Headline Alabama politician doesn’t like brown skin color in any position of power or authority

I’ll always laugh at this, it fits everything
I’m really curious if he/they recognized the meme potential of this when they made it. They both seem pretty smart, so I think it has to be a consideration at least. Maybe it was the entire goal? Regardless, it’s perfect and I love seeing it every time.
They’re pissing their pants.
“The poors are learning about socialism!”
This is what it’s about. Thank you.
It’s not just socialism, it’s kindness and the exemplification of a civil servant actually seeking to serve the will of the people.
In many ways, we’re simply talking about the concept of a true republic here.
This is a rare vision of the America the founding fathers envisioned.
Can you name a socialist country that is doing well?
the ones that quickly get attacked and destroyed by the US when they’re successful?
like most of S. American countries that all seem to have a ‘Dictator problem’ until the US chooses their Dictator?
those Socialist countries?
Good luck on seeing more republicans elected. Lol. Americans are savvy enough to know the difference between “good” socialism and “bad” socialism.
What kind of socialism are you referring to? That’s a pretty wide net you’re casting.
Social democracy (which is technically still capitalism)? Democratic socialism with decentralized authority? Anarchism? Union socialism?
Or are you just looking at examples of Stalinism, Maoism and Marxist-Leninist socialism? Libertarian socialism?
Do you realize the price of change is human life with any society? Capitalism has cost countless lives and the death toll is increasing.
I hate my spouse so fucking much
And comparatively basically every "developed’ nation is doing better than the USA.
Sure they have their problems but at least they get affordable health care and time off work
Not socialist but social democracies.
Socialism is when WORKERS OWN THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION.
These two countries are both free market privately owned economies. They both have extream(for the USA) regulations when it comes to how private enterprise can operate but at the end of the day they are both 100% capitalists.
Hmm…
Sweden is a highly developed country ranked fifth in the Human Development Index. It is a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary democracy,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden
Sweden has achieved a high standard of living under a mixed system of high-tech capitalism and extensive welfare benefits.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Sweden
As a unitary state with a constitutional monarchy, Norway divides state power between the parliament, the cabinet, and the judiciary, as determined by the 1814 constitution.
The Norwegian economy is an example of a mixed economy; a prosperous capitalist welfare state, it features a combination of free market activity and large state ownership in certain key sectors, influenced by both liberal governments from the late 19th century and later by social democratic governments in the postwar era.
Exactly, not socialist.
Ironically, this rhetoric from a politician should be an arrestable offense.
