As far as I’m aware, in the warehouses, yes. And they just got their pay boosted to minimum $20 per hour.
Then that’s good news!
The drivers are contractors, not employees.
A lot of people that work at Amazon are contractors
That’s my assumption, but I have no data. And so I assume that the people that people think of when they think of “amazon employee” are actually not helped by this change.
