It’s honestly shocking how much difference 100kph vs 120kph makes in fuel consumption, even on relatively short distances.
The suit industry is a colossal waste of money that could be used to meaningfully improve the lives of people who need it.
And of course, working from home was always possible but why give workers any more freedom than is absolutely necessary?
If companies had to pay for the gas and time in traffic, most people would work from home.
You would think so. However, they already have to pay rent and utilities on huge office buildings while all major cities have housing issues. Yet I still have to show up for work in the office. It boggles the mind.
We need to get off of fossil fuels. European energy for Europeans!
