Can you show us a cool photo you took recently? We wanna see what you found cool enough to take a photo of. We usually take photos of things we’re interested in or are unique enough to put into a reference folder we have for art and well we’re wondering if anyone had any good photos to share! :3

Thank you!

Also the photo on this post we put up is a train we saw in the Train museum here in Spain! We had so much fun and think this would have to be the one of the more impressive ones (tho not our favorite haha)

Edit: Hoi peeps!! We love all these photos and this post got WAY more popular than expected haha! We’re wanting to reply to everyone, but it’s gonna take some time - so we’re not ignoring you and if we accidentally miss you aaaaa we’re sorry (there’s just so much @w@)! Thank you again everyone, this has been lovely seeing all these cool af pics!! :D

Cargo bikes are awesome! We have an Italian surrey bike that has 2 benches and 4 pedals that we want to use is as a grocery getter. But we kinda bit off more than we can chew and it needs a lot of work.

It’s called Black Emperor and it’s awesome. It’s an “Indie Arcade Game” which is a thing that is starting to pop up, and I am here for them. I hated the direction that arcades were going in - which has been shitty phone games on gigantic touch screens.

Black Emperor is a game where you are a dude on a motorcycle, there is a throttle button, and the wheel to go up and down. The challenge is that the screen is moving along and you need to stay on it. Too fast, you die, too slow, you die. But you have to also stay on the path or you slow down. There are also dirt strips you need to boost through. It’s almost like a modern Excite Bike, but super challenging and awesome.

Oh, also the top front of the arcade cabinet has some big ass fans, and when you pick up speed they blow in your face. It’s sick.

Here’s the most recent photo in my camera roll 🤷🏼‍♀️. In fact it’s the ONLY photo currently on my camera roll since I moved everything to my external hard drive a couple days ago to free up memory. My job has employee buffet every day all day long, so here’s my lunch break and I was so glad they had leftover omelets & bacon from this morning and I was texting with my boyfriend and he asked me what I was doing so I took a picture of this to show him what I was doing at the moment:

This job is at a m/billionaires club, so there’s a huge kitchen constantly churning out 5-star meals to the m/billionaires, with plenty overflowing to the employee cafeteria. But ain’t nothing come for free! We employees sacrifice $30 deducted per paycheck for this food.

When I first started this job they did not tell me this food was deducted from our paycheck whether or not we even step foot into the cafeteria, so when I looked at my pay stub a few months into my employment, was a little surprised but then realized based on what I’ve learned about human nature over the years, when people receive something for free they tend to appreciate it less, and abuse/misuse even disrespect such privileges, so I think it’s appropriate that we pay for this food. It only breaks down to $5.50 a day* for all you can eat buffet so it’s a pretty damn good deal as long as we use it because again, pretty sure they deduct the cafeteria fee from our paychecks whether or not we ever step foot in there.

            • I did the math, I’ve only worked 28 days this year so far and they’ve deducted total $155.13 from my pay for the cafeteria this year so it breaks down to about $5.50 a day.

Idk we’d personally ask if we could be disconnected from that and bring our own lunch. A nice Buffet is nice and all but that’s a bit much for us (that’s over 3x we spend a month on groceries @-@,) glad it’s working out for you tho!!

Thank you so much, you really made me smile! An anachronism is something out of its time. Like seeing a car in a movie set in ancient rome. Since im a huge nerd i can’t help but to admit that i painted a cooler camo on the tank of an earlier version of the same tank even thou historically this type probably never was 🤣

Also adding that this is the central area of the hotel where they would have macaws perched during the day and some nights there was a Mayan ceremony and blessing with singing and chanting. They paddled in from one of the streams to the main room where there is a big water feature, burning incense and saying prayers, full traditional ceremonial dress and makeup.

This was the walk up fron the beach to the main building of the resort we stayed at in Playa del Carmen, Mexico: The Occidental at Xcaret.

Our family sang the Jurassic Park theme every time we made this walk.

I went to a place most people probably would not venture in the winter which adds to the ambiance. In the summer you get less fog but the tufah salt formations are still there.

us testing out a fender we designed for our go-kart a couple weeks ago

the fender on the left wheel is the third iteration. the second iteration was on the right wheel but was ripped to shreds (this is why we test stuff).

we are also not super huge fans of CAD so this was our desk at the time :)

Is that like a common problem?! Did you just have to realign / clean things or was there any replacements you had to do? (Haven’t looked into the repairs for it just yet aaa)

Yea, i think it’s rather common. You could fix it by simply blowing inside, past the buttons. I always thought it be the Y2K version of blowing in the cartridge.

To actual fix it I just cleaned everything that was in the vicinity of the shoulder button as well looking like it could make some sort of electrical connection using IPA. However even though it got rid of the problem for a lot longer than the blowing technique, it still is slowly failing on me again i feel like. :(
