Successful? I know that he used to be huge in the 80s and early 90s, but after that? I am slightly surprised that he is still getting some attention in the media.

A crowd of 100,000 or so in 2024 seems pretty successful to me. I mean sure it doesn’t match 3.5 million from 1997, but 100,000 isn’t exactly chump change in an audience size.

Well, it was a good run, but now I know never to listen to any J-M J music from after Equinoxe Infinity.
Dude isn’t wrong. The principal issues with AI are social, not technological, or even artistic.
Even without the social issues (some of which aren’t really solvable), there are still the matters of the lack of control and predictability, qualities that make it very valuable to fakers, but pretty much worthless to serious artists.
